Discussion
This is a free, invite-only event limited to ten people where we will be discussing how Intelligent Automation can drive improved outcomes in the Pharmacovigilance Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) process?
Many thousands of adverse event (AE) cases are processed manually, on an on-going basis by case processing teams, operating globally. These teams are involved in data entry, quality review and medical review. These activities are resource-intensive, prone to risk of errors and operational inefficiencies.
The ICSR process would appear to have all the right ‘characteristics’ for successful application of automation, yet uptake has been slower than in other parts of the business. Further automation of ICSR’s could provide a sound foundation for improving the transactional and resource-intensive processes, as well as reduce risks in other downstream PV processes.
To what extent can Intelligent Automation transform PV processes to deliver greater efficiency, value and quality outcomes against a backdrop of ever-increasing regulatory demands, patient safety practices and the explosion of large amounts of data from myriad & varied sources?
Proservartner will be hosting this 90 minute long roundtable discussion, together with industry experts in PV and automation in PV. All information will be treated as confidential, and there will be no presentations, as our intention is to provide a forum to enable learning from peers and sharing experiences. There is no cost for attending, however, we ask that you turn on your videos to aid engagement and discussion.
